It inhabits a large part of South America.



But it can also fly low to graze intruders with its spurs.



At school we take care of them by respecting their place within ours and we observe and learn more about these wonderful birds throughout the year.





We have a couple of mated pairs who insist on nesting on busy roundabouts on major roads.

You can find dogs with short hair, long hair, a tail, no tail, big ears, small ears, different colors, different sizes, different shapes, and even a different temperment.
